Welcome to the UGHS Media Center/Learning Commons

The Learning Commons is aligned with the UGHS mission to provide the highest quality educational experience by ensuring access to exceptional opportunities, engaging students in rigorous coursework, and fostering a culture of excellence in order to prepare students to meet the challenges of the future. We are also committed to promoting the American Association of School Librarians AASL Framework for Learners. Our goal is to provide users with books in print, eBooks, online resources, and instructional technology services.The Learning Commons hours are 7:50 am- 3:40 pm daily.  Students have access to unlimited book checkouts, printing, and copier services. In addition, students also have access to a large Makerspace area with die cuts, construction paper, and craft resources for projects.
