Teacher Bio

Ms. Funte is a graduate of the Henry County School System, graduating from Luella High School in 2009. She then attended Shorter University and earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Theatre. Shortly after graduating from college, Ms. Funte returned to Luella High School to teach English Language Arts. She taught there for three years before joining Union Grove in 2019, continuing in English, and eventually transtioning to theatre in 2022. She is so thrilled to continue growing the Theatre program for the 24-25 school year! Ms. Funte enjoys spending time with her husband and three little boys. As a family, they like to travel, try new food, and explore the outdoors.
